I really wanted to like this game. I like the power rangers and really enjoy Nway’s console fighting game. But the game is set up to not only be p2w but almost outright pay to play. The gameplay itself is basic but fun. However, you don’t get far at all before there’s almost no incentive to play. It’s far too easy to max out your 4 slots with free boxes. The rate at which you gain currency is awful after the first day or two. The ideal way to play is locked behind a $20 monthly sub. No thanks
I give the game 3 stars for a couple of reasons. Beautiful game and the idea of a fighter is wonderful…however, I am not a fan of the strict PVP style. A lot of these mobile games are PVP, but there are also single-player story modes or challenges where you do NOT need to play against another player. I like having that option. Yeah…single-player story mode is needed like Marvel’s Realm of Champions game. Done playing this game until such a time comes to pass.
